Located in Cicheng Town, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, and held by Ningbo Electric Industry Bureau, Ningbo Huyong Electric Power Material Co. Ltd. has convenient transportation facilities of airport, railway and highway. The company is a new and high-tech enterprise in Zhejiang Province, which has attained approval certificate of ISO9001 international quality system and AAA level of the credit evaluation, and has been brought into the second recommending list of the main equipments, products and manufacturing companies for national town and country electrified wire netting construction and reformation conducted by State Economic and Trade Commission. The company has more than 260 employees, among whom there are 60 technicians in different specialities (12 senior technicians), and has a net asset of more than RMB40 million yuan. Covering an area of more than 80, 000 square metres, the company has two steel tower factories, tow galvanization factories and a thulium research institute.
Steel tower factories professionally produce electricity transmission tower( voltage level up to 500KV ), steel attachments, microwave transmission tower & telecommunication tower ( certificated by Ministry of Radio, Film and Television with Manufacturing License of Microwave Transmission Tower & Telecommunication Tower ), cable rack, electric power metal tools, etc., To extend the production scale of steel towers, the company builds new plant nearly 12000 square meters, and the annual routine output reaches 70, 000 tons (if adding the manufacturing equipments and training the production personnel, the maximal annual output can reach 95, 000 tons), which makes it one of the 40 companies having 500KV manufacturing license in China. The company possesses different kinds of advanced equipments for production and testing, among which there are fifteen (15) automatically digital-controlled assembly lines. The steel structures are modeled with CAD drafting by computer, and produced on automatically digital-controlled assembly lines. The automatic and professional levels are quite high, which greatly improve the qualified rate and the precision degree. To guarantee the quality of raw materials and productions, the Physics & Chemistry Testing Center purchases the advanced testing equipments such as steel five-elements analyzing instrument, steel mechanism performance-testing instrument and ultrasonic flaw detector etc.
Galvanization factories have the first-class scale and output in Eastern China, adopted the advanced automatically-controlled assembly lines of thulium-zinc that built by Shenyang Automatization Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences, the annual output reaches 85, 000 tons (monthly output reaches 7000 tons)., which makes it the biggest company of this industry in Ningbo and Zhoushan district. The main products include thulium-zinc-aluminium alloy & thulium-zinc-nickel alloy plating coat products developed by the company. The new type products have features of surface reinforcement, surface prevention and surface beautification, and double antisepsis ability of the heat-zinc-plating products. On 20th, Dec. 1997, the products were approved to reach the national advanced level by Ministry of Power Industry, and the company was also recommended as the high-tech enterprise in Zhejiang Province. Cooperated with Chinese Academy of Sciences, the second national first-class galvanization workshop has been put into use at the beginning of 2003.
